PORTFOLIO | MANON, an 18th-century outfit in grass green linen

In my last post, I informed that Atelier Serraspina is launching a new collection, the MANON collection, which includes 18th-century outfits in linen and cotton. These outfits are composed of two pieces: a skirted bodice and a petticoat, pleated in the style of the 18th century.

Read the post about the launch of this collection to learn all the secrets of MANON's design.

If you follow my store, you know how much I love wearing these 18th-century ensembles every day! The MANON outfit has the benefit of being very feminine and super practical to wear.

You can wear the two pieces together if you are looking for historical accuracy. Indeed, short-skirted jackets were very fashionable in the late 18th-century in Europe, Canada, and the United States.

But if you want to wear 18th-century fashion today, you can simply wear the jacket or skirt without drawing too much attention. Just combine these pieces with more modern elements, and voila!
