ROSALIE is an 18th-century dress for girls, inspired by Marie-Antoinette's "Chemise à la Reine", that the queen wore from 1780.
The dress is made of white cotton batiste and is fully lined with mauve cotton poplin. The transparency of the white cotton batiste gives a glimpse of the color of this lining, matching the belt.
ROSALIE is trimmed with ruffles all around the neckline and sleeves. These ruffles are themselves adorned with a lace ribbon, just like the hem of the dress.
The dress is tied around the body with two ties: one around the waist, the other at the neckline.
